I’ve been working very hard these last couple of weeks. What just started as an interrail trip through Europe has now become something bigger than that. Hard work, perseverance and good friends have made my trip this summer possible. So since the last time I updated something, a lot has happened. First of all we have Audi unite as our main sponsor for this amazing startup trip! Audi has made it possible for Conneqtour to connect with even more people and get an even better understanding of the startup world of Europe.
The point of this trip has been very hard for both myself and for others to grasp. There’s no real KPI’s to measure for this journey. It will be something completely organic and selfdriven. The point is to talk to people, hear their stories and try to connect people to make something amazing happen. Everything will be reported during the trip through different social channels, right here on the blog and through videos, podcasts and vlogs. I am so extremely stoked to just start this trip right now! But I still have a few things to do before my trip starts the 22nd of June.
In the moment of writing this I’m sitting in Copenhagen after a few days of Distortion festival. It has been a few amazing days with many new meetings with interesting people. Since I was already here we decided to test the waters a bit with the youtube channel we’re building together with Startup cabin. Every saturday during the trip you will be able to join me and Xue Mei for a quick overview of what I’ve been doing during the week. I’ll share some of the stories that I’ve collected during the week and you’ll also be able to see some of the video and photo material I’ve collected during the week. I hope that with the youtube channel we’ll be able to share some of the stuff that I’m doing that could benefit you as an entrepreneur. You’ll be able to join the trip without having to join me physically. But if you want to be 100 % to get all the latest news and tips & tricks that I’m collecting during the trip, you need to sign up for the newsletter.
Two weeks ago we launched the collaboration with Audi on the Conneqtour at our summerparty, Summergrind46, where we invited the whole Startup community of Stockholm for a last get together before everyone goes on vacation (or a Eurotrip in my case). The party was a blast! We had so much fun and I’m looking forward to see the material that we filmed in the confession booth that we set up during the evening. We’re going to choose one lucky winner for a chance to join on the Conneqtour and visit some of the biggest and best Startup hubs around Europe. As an entrepreneur or an upcoming entrepreneur this is the perfect opportunity to test your ideas in a bigger forum and learn how the European market works. I’m really stoked to be able to take someone with me on the trip and get to know eachother a bit and have a lot of fun together!
This is going to be one of those pretty long posts just to get everything covered. There’s one more thing I think you should also check out that we are doing this summer. We’re hosting Startup Grind Almedalen for the first time. There’s so much cool things going on during Almedalsveckan, and if you’re not familiar with Almedalsveckan it’s a week where all the politicians, companies, PR agencies and other cool people get together for a week and talks about a lot of interesting things. Check out the website for more information.
This will be the end of this post, thank you so much for checking it out!
Keep being awesome
With love, from the Conneqtify team
